AURUM — Terms & Conditions

1. About the Platform

AURUM ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-assisted discovery and booking platform that connects users with independent third-party aesthetic clinics and practitioners ("Clinics"). AURUM does not provide medical services, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not act as a healthcare provider. No doctor-patient relationship is created between AURUM and users.

2. Platform Nature & Role

AURUM provides: AI-assisted informational guidance for discovery purposes; clinic discovery and comparison tools; booking facilitation services; and communication tools between users and Clinics.

AURUM does not: provide medical advice or treatment recommendations; employ or control Clinics or practitioners; or guarantee outcomes, suitability, or results of any treatment. All medical services are provided solely by independent Clinics.

3. AI-Assisted Guidance

AURUM uses artificial intelligence tools to assist users in exploring aesthetic treatment categories and discovering relevant Clinics. AI outputs are informational only, not medical advice, and not diagnostic or treatment recommendations. Users must consult qualified medical professionals before making any medical or aesthetic decisions. AURUM does not assume responsibility for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

4. Clinics & Verification

Clinics listed on the Platform are required to provide documentation confirming that they hold valid licences, qualifications, and legal authorisation to perform the services they offer in their jurisdiction. AURUM may conduct internal onboarding and review processes; however AURUM is not a medical regulator and does not certify or guarantee Clinics. Any internal evaluation is informational only. Users are responsible for independently assessing Clinics before proceeding with any treatment.

5. Bookings

AURUM facilitates booking requests between users and Clinics. A booking is confirmed only when accepted by the relevant Clinic. AURUM does not guarantee appointment availability, scheduling outcomes, or acceptance of booking requests. Where availability is limited, AURUM may assist users in discovering alternative Clinics or appointment times where possible, without obligation or guarantee.

6. Payments

Payments may be processed via the Platform or directly by Clinics, depending on the payment structure in place. Where AURUM facilitates payments, it acts solely as a payment intermediary and does not provide medical services. AURUM is not responsible for pricing, invoicing, or financial obligations related to medical services provided by Clinics.

7. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds

Each Clinic sets its own cancellation and refund policy, which is displayed prior to booking. Unless otherwise required by applicable law: cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment may result in a cancellation fee determined by the Clinic; failure to attend (no-show) may result in the full booking amount being charged by the Clinic. Users may be entitled to statutory consumer rights under applicable law which cannot be excluded. AURUM does not independently issue refunds for services provided by Clinics.

8. Medical Responsibility

All medical services, consultations, treatments, and procedures are provided exclusively by independent Clinics. Users enter into a direct contractual relationship with Clinics for any medical service. AURUM is not a party to any medical treatment agreement and is not responsible for treatment outcomes, clinical decisions, complications, practitioner conduct, or satisfaction with results.

9. User Responsibilities

Users agree to: provide accurate and complete information; follow instructions provided by Clinics; and attend or cancel appointments responsibly. Users acknowledge that failure to provide accurate information may affect treatment safety and outcomes.

10. Platform Content

Any descriptions, classifications, rankings, or informational content provided on the Platform are based on internal criteria and/or publicly available information. Such content is informational only, not a guarantee of quality, safety, or outcome, and not medical advice.

11. Third-Party Services

Clinics are independent third parties. Any agreement for medical services is strictly between the user and the Clinic. AURUM has no control over and assumes no responsibility for third-party services.

12. Data Protection (GDPR)

AURUM processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, users consent to such processing.

13. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, software, and design are owned or licensed by AURUM and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, reproduce, or exploit Platform content without prior written consent.

14. Service Modifications

AURUM reserves the right to modify or update the Platform, change features or functionality, or suspend access in cases of misuse or security risk. We will take reasonable steps to notify users of material changes where appropriate.

15. Termination

AURUM may suspend or terminate user access if these Terms are breached, misuse or fraudulent activity is detected, or if required by law or regulatory authorities.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AURUM shall not be liable for: medical outcomes or treatment results; actions or omissions of Clinics; disputes between users and Clinics; or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

17. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify AURUM against claims arising from: misuse of the Platform; inaccurate information provided by the user; or disputes with Clinics.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections under the laws of their country of residence. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply.

AURUM Clinic Partner Terms & Commission Agreement

1. Platform Role

AURUM ("the Platform") acts as a technology, marketing, discovery, and booking intermediary connecting clients with independent third-party clinics ("Clinics"). AURUM does not provide medical services, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clinics are independent service providers and are solely responsible for all medical and clinical activities.

2. Clinic Responsibility

The Clinic is solely responsible for: patient consultations and suitability assessment; medical advice and treatment decisions; treatment delivery and outcomes; aftercare and follow-up; and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Clinic confirms it operates with all required licences, qualifications, and insurance in its jurisdiction.

3. Commission Structure

3.1 Fixed Commission Rate. AURUM applies a fixed platform commission of 20% of the gross booking value for all services booked through the Platform. This applies to all categories including (but not limited to): injectables, aesthetic treatments, surgical procedures, IV therapies, longevity services, skincare, and consultations.

3.2 Clinic Revenue Share. The Clinic receives 80% of the gross booking value for each completed and verified booking.

3.3 Payment Flow. Payments are collected from the client at the time of booking. The Platform deducts its 20% commission and holds the remaining funds for payout to the Clinic.

3.4 Payout Timing. Clinic payouts are initiated 24 hours after confirmed treatment completion, subject to: no active dispute; no fraud investigation; and no regulatory or compliance review.

3.5 Delay of Payouts. The Platform may reasonably delay payout where necessary for: dispute resolution; suspected fraud or chargebacks; or regulatory or compliance checks. Any withheld funds will be released once the issue is resolved.

3.6 Commission Earned. The Platform commission is considered earned upon successful processing of the client payment and booking confirmation. In cases where a client refund is issued under applicable law or exceptional circumstances, the refund will be deducted from the Clinic's payout share unless otherwise required by law.

3.7 Invoice & Reporting. A detailed invoice will be issued per booking showing: gross booking value; platform commission (20%); and net Clinic payout (80%). Invoices are accessible via the Clinic dashboard.

3.8 Bank Information. Clinics are responsible for maintaining accurate payment details. AURUM is not liable for failed transfers due to incorrect or outdated bank information provided by the Clinic.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

All bookings are subject to Clinic-specific cancellation and refund policies, which must comply with applicable consumer protection laws. The Platform does not independently determine refund eligibility.

5. Payments & Role Clarity

The Platform acts as a payment facilitator for booking transactions. The Platform is not the provider of medical services and does not enter into a medical service agreement with clients.

6. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, are handled in accordance with: applicable law; Clinic policy; and consumer protection requirements. The Platform may process refunds only where legally required or operationally necessary.

7. Insurance & Compliance

Clinics must maintain: valid professional indemnity insurance; all required regulatory licences; and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations. Clinics agree to indemnify AURUM against claims arising from their services.

8. Platform Rights

AURUM reserves the right to: approve or reject Clinic onboarding; suspend or remove Clinics; and restrict access due to compliance, quality, or reputational risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AURUM is not liable for: medical outcomes or treatment results; practitioner conduct; clinical decisions; or patient dissatisfaction or complications. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

AURUM may terminate or suspend Clinic access immediately in cases of: breach of agreement; expired or invalid licences; patient safety concerns; fraud or misuse; or reputational risk.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

I have read and agree to the Clinic Partner Terms & Conditions. I confirm that our clinic maintains valid professional liability insurance, that all credentials and treatment information are accurate, and that I am authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of the clinic. I acknowledge the fixed 20% platform commission on all bookings and the 24-hour payout structure.
